Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the facilityby emphasizing process and performance improvements and leading problem solving and process optimization efforts
:Provide technical guidanceand support to departments by evaluating, recommending and implementing new/upgraded equipment selection, project assessment and act as a resource for equipment troubleshooting. Review and analyze various reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or product problems and develop solutions.
:Direct the planning, development and implementation of new methods, technologies and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs and effect greater utilization of labor and equipment and raw materials.
:Develop and analyze technical data as assigned or required. Develop and document standard training practices.
:Responsible to lead plant workforce, and leadershipto a culture of continuous improvement
:Assist in the development of a strategic plan.
:Communicate and deploy resources throughout the plant to achieve your key strategic objectives.
:Coordinate activities consistent with principles and expectations of the Program Management Office.
:Foster a plant culture to achieve a motivated workforce conducive to employee improvement teams.
:Create a sustainable continuous improvement process within the plant.
:Recruit, train and develop effective team leaders. Includes problem solving process, good meeting practices, project management, team building, etc.
:Ensure proper evaluation is performed on team leaders and provide appropriate measures to strengthen team leader abilities.
:Manage the A3 process from initiation to completion.
:Best practices rapidly identified, shared, and implemented through improvement project work.
:Work throughout the plant as required, developing process engineering documentation systems and auditing procedures. Develop and analyze technical data as assigned or required.
:Promote the use of data and metrics for identifying improvement opportunities
:Apply data and metrics to problem solving and process improvement activities
:Apply analytical tools to identify and eliminate waste and inefficiencies across the company
:Provide training and employee development in areas such as process improvement, problem solving, and root cause analysis
:Assist in the identification and sharing of best practices across the organization
:Serve as a cross:functional liaison to identify and involve appropriate subject matter experts
:Generate, maintain and adheres to project expense and capital budget. Generates product costs data for new and/or revised product costing estimates.
:Analyze and recommends manpower requirements, recommends qualifications and individuals for hire, assigns and directs work, ensure proper safety equipment is worn and proper safety procedures are followed. Directly responsible for the safety of those under supervision.
:Select, collect, align, and integrate data and information for tracking improvement process and overall plant performance.
