Assist in the planning and development of training programs to better prepare new hire employees in various departments, as well as, to lead in the development of a continuous education training program for Mentors and all other employees. Reports directly to the HR Manager. Comply with all product safety, legal, regulatory and quality systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
:Participate in the selection, creation and development of both short and long:term training programs
:Assist in the creation of an assessment and certification program that evaluates and monitors Mentors and new employee skills
:Provide application training support to new and existing employees in order to enhance their ability, functionality and overall performance
:Develop a record keeping process, as well as, assuring such records are kept current
:Act as liaison between all affected departments, Mentors and the Training Department
:Assist in the Mentor selection process
:Assess and or improve Mentors training techniques
:Assess recommendations of Mentors on the progress of new hire certification.
:Provide feedback to Management and groups, based on needs, in order to enhance functionality and improve the training system
:Maintain a comprehensive understanding of training, offerings and industry knowledge
:Ensure all assigned personnel meet AIB standards
:Perform other duties as may be assigned
:Oversee Mentors process and New Hire Training process.
:Conduct the New Employee Structured Classroom Orientation.
:Carryout directives in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, which includes assisting with the initial selection and training of new Mentors.
:Coordinate assignment of new hires to Mentors for hands on training.
:Provide feedback to Supervisors and Human Resources department concerning the progress of new hires and Mentors.
:Communicate issues raised by new hires during initial training to appropriate Supervisors or Managers.

:Ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
:Ability to presentinformation to a large groups of people.
:Kknowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
:Associates degree preferred
:Three (3) years of work experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment.
:Demonstrated experience in training others on manufacturing best practices, process improvement, quality, and safety required.
:Ability to work flexible hours in:order to cover all shifts, when needed
