Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems sector is seeking a Quality Engineer 2 to join our team of creative and diverse engineers. The position will be located in Warner Robins, GA.
The selected candidate will perform quality engineering related activities using skills and knowledge with regards to aerospace/aircraft hardware. The selected candidate will develop methods and procedures for the inspection, testing and/or evaluating the functionality of products/systems as well as analyzing existing inspection and testing of installed electrical/avionic equipment for potential improvements. The selected candidate will analyze nonconformance’s and determine effective root cause and corrective action (RCCA) as well as process improvement/opportunities.
The selected candidate will work as part of teams in multidisciplinary roles that may include, but are not limited to:
- Working closely with the supplier assurance organization to aid in the improvement of supplier performance and productivity of delivered hardware
- Prepare, maintain and review procurement/contractual documents (ISOW, SOW, SRD, etc.) to ensure compliance to customer/government contractual requirements
- Review and analyze corrective action reports and actively participate in said investigations to reduce/eliminate supplier defects
